Shows in Musicals

Jesus Christ Superstar

THURSDAY 20th – SATURDAY 22nd 7.30pm

& 2.30pm SATURDAY MATINEE

Told entirely through song, Jesus Christ Superstar traces the last seven days of the life of Christ as seen through the eyes of Judas Iscariot. Loosely based on the Gospels, Superstar focuses on the personal conflicts between Jesus, his disciples, the leadership of Rome as well as Jesus’ relationship with Mary Magdalene.

Written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice as a Rock Opera, the show quickly became a worldwide hit with West End and Broadway productions, countless tours and two film versions. The Iconic 70s score contains such well know songs as Superstar, I Don’t Know How To Love Him and Gethsemane.

Please note: Some scenes in the show could be upsetting for some members of our audience.

This is a Community Production Staged by our All-Inclusive Performers Group.

Beyond The Barricade

SATURDAY 4th OCTOBER 7.30pm

Beyond the Barricade, the UK’s longest running Musical Theatre Concert Tour, is back for 2025. Join the cast for two hours of the best of Broadway and the West End, featuring the songs that have made audiences return over and over again for more than 25 years. Enjoy numbers from The Phantom of the Opera, Jesus Christ Superstar, West Side Story, The Lion King, Blood Brothers, Miss Saigon, Hamilton and many others, climaxing with a spectacular finale from, of course, Les Misérables!

The concert tour will feature Andy Reiss, David Fawcett, Katie Leeming and Sarah Ryan who have all played principal roles in both the West End and UK Tours of Les Misérables, together with a live band who capture the feel of the original orchestrations of the chosen musicals.

To this day every musical note is still played and sung live – very rare indeed. Beyond the Barricade gives musical theatre songs a bold concert format treatment – but with the conviction and intention to deliver the material as if the audience are watching the original performance.
